How OpenBhoomi works

OpenBhoomi helps buyers discover agricultural land and connect directly with sellers. We charge no commission, and we explain the evidence behind each verification label.

For buyers

Search, compare evidence, contact the seller, then independently inspect the land and complete legal due diligence.

1

Search

Filter by revenue village, mandal, acreage, price, infrastructure and verification.

2

Review

Check photos, seller declarations and the exact public record checks completed.

3

Contact

Send an inquiry or non-binding offer directly to the seller.

4

Verify independently

Visit the land and verify title, boundaries, access and documents before paying.

For sellers

Create and publish a listing without paying commission. Ownership verification is optional and remains separate from listing publication.

1

Add land details

Select the revenue location and enter the parcel details. LP number is required for a resurveyed village.

2

Add public media

Upload clear land photos. Never add Aadhaar or land records to public listing media.

3

Publish

Publish once required listing details and at least one photo are ready.

4

Verify if you choose

After identity verification, privately upload the requested MeeBhoomi records.

Understand the labels

A label means only the specific checks described below. It is never a title guarantee.

✓

Seller identity verified

OpenBhoomi verified the digital signature on the seller's UIDAI Offline Aadhaar XML. This confirms document authenticity, not physical presence or land ownership.

✓

Ownership verified

Seller identity and the specific MeeBhoomi documents named on that listing matched using applicable owner name, relation name, Aadhaar ending digits and parcel identifiers.

✓

All checks passed

Every public record check applicable to that revenue village passed. Four checks apply to resurveyed villages and three to non-resurveyed villages.

What stays private

Signed-out visitors do not receive seller name, survey number, LP number or uploaded ownership documents from pages, APIs, metadata, posters or share previews.

Why revenue village?

Land records use revenue villages. A locality, hamlet or postal village may not appear under the same name in the village list. Select the revenue village shown on the land record.
